DALLAS, TX--- The California Baptist STUNT program continued its winning ways in the Lone Star State this weekend, besting four different squads at the Dallas Baptist STUNT Tournament. CBU improves to 7-0 this season and holds tight to their perfect program record, which improves to 87-0.
CBU 24 - 0 Missouri State
Head Coach Brandon Seagondollar's team got work right away in the heart of Texas, besting Division I first-year Missouri State 24-0 in a perfect match. True freshman Kaleigh Hafner showed her talents on the mat yet again with her second Highest Rated Player nod after tallying 44 points. Ava Hersman secured Stunter of the Game with 33 points, while Abigail Eshleman sealed the game with 20 points as Tumbler of the Game.
CBU 24 - 0 Michigan State
The second game of the day proved to be just as successful as the first after the Lancers defeated Michigan State 24-0. This time it was Ella Hodson who showed out with 74 points on the mat, earning her the Highest Rated Players honor. Brodi Perrault helped keep the Lancers' stunts high and earned 62 points as a base, naming her the Stunter of the Game. Lastly, Alexcius York brought it home for CBU with 29 points as Tumbler of the game. The perfect win over the Spartans marks the fourth time CBU has earned all 24 points without allowing the other team to score this year.
CBU 24 - 1 Oklahoma State
The Lancers started Saturday with a solid win over the Oklahoma State club STUNT program, allowing just a single point on a tied round. Perrault secured her first Highest Rated Player honor with 71 points against the Cowboys, while Eshleman earned Tumbler of the Game honors, and Layla Langrell locked up her first Stunter of the Game nod.
CBU 24 - 1 Oklahoma Baptist
Seagondollar's squad closed out the final game in Texas against familiar foes Oklahoma Baptist. CBU's York led the way with 61 points on the mat for the Highest Rated Player honor. Just behind was Madison Arochi, who was named Tumbler of the Game with 60 points, while Hersman rounded out the weekend as Stunter of the Game with 48 points.
