NASHVILLE, TN--- History was made again on Saturday afternoon for the California Baptist STUNT program as the squad closed out the Trevecca Nazarene Tournament in Tennessee. Head Coach Brandon Seagondollar's squad swept the competition with a perfect 5-0 weekend record to amass a new program record of 100-0. The 100 wins come during the program's fifth year in existence and is also Seagondollar's 100th win as a STUNT head coach.
The Lancers entered the weekend 15-0 this season and took down UT Martin, Mercyhurst University, Missouri State University, the University of Central Arkansas, and Northern Kentucky University to secure another perfect weekend. Even more impressive, CBU also defeated the five squads with a perfect 24-0 score in every game. Highest-Rated Players during the weekend festivities included Kaleigh Hafner with 49 points, Courtney Sanchez with 46 points, Alexcius York with 60 points, Michaela Grim with 55 points, and Jasmine Hernandez with 50 points.
The last five years of CBU STUNT have been extremely successful, with a 100% win rate for the Lancers. Across 2,232 routines, Seagondollar's squads have lost just 78 points and have seen an 89% win rate in head-to-head points. The 2024 season stands out as the program's most successful, with the team winning 96% of routines against opponents. Additionally, the Lancers have won the STUNT The Sport National Championship four consecutive times, earning the program a permanent spot as the most successful and decorated program in the sport's short history.
With another impressive milestone marked, CBU will now turn its attention to its final four regular season games before returning to Nashville to compete in the 2025 STUNT The Sport National Championship Tournament at the end of April.
