Del Valle Sweeps the Bruin Diving Invitational

LOS ANGELES, CA --- The California Baptist University dive team continued its season this weekend at the Bruin Diving Invitational, hosted by UCLA. The three-day meet was highlighted by CBU's Mario Del Valle, who swept three events.
Del Valle took first place in 1m, 3m, and platform diving. Del Valle finished 1m with 696.55 points, 3m with 737.45 points, and platform with 729.70 points.
John Angelovic also competed for the CBU men. Angelovic placed seventh in 3m and eighth in 1m. Gael Jimenez placed third in 1m with 598.85 points.

The Lancers will continue their season on January 17 by hosting Grand Canyon at the Lancer Aquatics Center. Saturday's meet with GCU will be Senior Day. CBU will also be in Riverside the following week to host UC San Diego.
