STUNT Kicks Off Texas Trip with Two More Wins

DALLAS, TX --- California Baptist STUNT began its trip to the lone star state with two games on day one of the DBU STUNT Tournament. Playing Texas and Oklahoma State, CBU earned a pair of victories to start their time on the road.
CBU's first game ended in a 28-4 victory over the Texas Longhorns. Alexcius York was the highest rated player with 78 points. Ava Hersman finished with 74 points, earning her stunter of the game. Kate Zaragoza and Thi Nguyen were the tumblers of the game with 42 points.
The day continued with CBU playing the Cowboys of Oklahoma State. That game also ended in a CBU win, this time by the final of 32-11.
Layla Langrell was the highest rated player with 64 points. Savannah Eshleman finished with 51 points to earn stunter of the game. Eva Lopez and Kayleigh Hafner were the tumblers of the game with 33 points.
CBU will play two more times tomorrow, starting with Oklahoma Baptist before a national championship game rematch with Kentucky.
