RIVERSIDE --- The final homestand of the 2025-26 basketball season gets underway on Thursday night as the Lancers look to remain unbeaten in Riverside. CBU will take on UT Arlington and Tarleton State this weekend as the final push for a regular-season WAC Championship heats up.
CBU is 9-5 in WAC action entering the final four games of the regular season. The Lancers are a game out of first place, trailing Utah Valley, which is 10-4. Utah Tech owns second place with a 10-5 mark.
Three of the Lancers' final four home games will be at home inside the Dale E. and Sarah Ann Fowler Events Center, a venue that has been very good to CBU. The Lancers are 12-0 at home this season and have won 16 consecutive home games dating back to Riverside. CBU is tied for the eighth-longest active home win streak in Division I and holds the second-longest active win streak in California, trailing only Saint Mary's.
Saint Mary's will be in action on Wednesday night at home against Santa Clara.
The Lancers are averaging 72.6 PPG in home contests this season and are outscoring opponents by 8.9 PPG inside the Fowler Events Center.
UT Arlington will be the Lancers' first opponent, as the Mavericks make their first trip to Riverside this season. In two meetings in Arlington, CBU and UTA split their games, with the Lancers owning an overtime victory in their most recent battle.
Dominique Daniels Jr. led the Lancers with 28 points, 13 coming in the overtime period, in the 87-77 victory last month. Jayden Jackson dropped 19 points on 5-of-13 from the field, and Nate Garcia scored a career-high 13 points. Martel Williams (11) and Bradey Henige (10) also finished in double figures.
UT Arlington has lost five of its last six since it met with the Lancers and comes into the week 7-8 in conference play.
Next for the Lancers comes Homecoming at CBU, as fans are encouraged to wear white and fill the Fowler Events Center on Saturday. Tarleton State will be the opponent for the Lancers, another team CBU is 1-1 against this season. Tarleton defeated the Lancers in Texas, but on their trip to Riverside earlier this month, it was CBU who squeaked out a one-point win.
Williams led the Lancers with 15 points in that February 5 meeting, followed by Daniels Jr. with 11. Andy Sigiscar (18) and Cam McDowell (14) led the Texans.
Thursday's contest will be a 7 p.m. start, and Saturday's Homecoming tilt is scheduled for 6 p.m. Tickets are still available for Thursday night and can be purchased HERE.
