THIS YEAR:  An extremely quick guard, Kristina Mitchell.  handles the ball well and is a good floor leader ... Will be looked upon to get team set up into its offenses ...  Has a very quick first step to the basket and is also a good defender.

2006-07: Started in five of the 24 games in which she played ... Scored 66 total points ... Shot 40.6 percent from the field ... Averaged 1.8 rebounds per game ... Dished out 44 assists ... Scored 10 points and grabbed seven rebounds against La Sierra ... Notched seven assists against Dixie State.

HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from Montclair Prep in Van Nuys, Calif., in 2006 ... Played four years of varsity basketball ... Earned all-league and All-CIF honors as a 2006 senior ... Was team captain as a 2006 senior ... Also ran two years of cross country and played a season of softball.
