• Awarded Holy Names Female Athlete of the Year in 2010

• Prepped four varsity seasons, two at St Paul HS in Santa Fe Springs, Calif. and two at Mark Keppel HS in Alhambra, Calif.
• Helped team become league champions all four years at Keppel HS and at St. Paul HS
• Was All-Almont League first team in 2006
• Named Camino Real League MVP in 2007 and 2008
• Garnered Whittier Daily News All-Area first team honors in 2007 and Daily News Player of the Year in 2008
• Earned St. Paul High Most Outstanding Senior Athlete Award 2008
• McDonalds All-American nominee in 2008

• Has two brothers and one sister, Steven, Eric, and Marie
• Marie played basketball at Holy Names University
• Graduated Summa Cum Laude with a dual Bachelor's Degree in Business Management and Business Marketing from Holy Names University in December of 2011
