HIGH SCHOOL: Played two varsity seasons at Deer Valley High in Antioch, Calif., where she graduated in 2006 ... Named scholar athlete all four years ... Set the single-season school record for blocks (72) and hitting percentage (.352) and recorded 90 kills ... Received Bay Valley Athletic League honorable mention ... Team went 14-0 her freshman year in conference, 13-1 her sophomore year and 11-3 her junior and senior years.
