  • Wrestled two years under Head Coach David Rivera and Caleb Flores
  • Earned two All-American awards, winning a California Junior College State Championship as a sophomore and taking fourth as a freshman
  • Won California West Regional title and took first in Team Dual State Champions in 2014

  • Prepped four years at Arroyo High, in El Monte, where he graduated in 2011
  • Won CIF Southern Section division title, took fourth at CIF-SS Masters, sixth at CIF California State Tournament and seventh at NHSCA Senior Nationals
