Jason Quan was named the California Baptist University Director of Athletic Strength and Conditioning in August of 2016.
Quan brings a wealth of knowledge after spending 10 years at Stanford University as the Sports Performance Coach for men's and women's tennis, men's and women's golf, men's and women's swimming, women's gymnastics, and men's soccer. He designed and implemented all aspects of the athletes' strength and speed development programs throughout the year.
Prior to Stanford, Quan worked at New Mexico State University where he was a strength and conditioning intern for men's and women's basketball, and baseball. He was also a strength and conditioning intern for the University of Texas at Austin, where he assisted with several sports including football, women's volleyball, softball, women's swimming and diving and women's crew.
Jason is from Tucson, Ariz., and graduated from the University of Arizona with a degree in physiological science. He went on to get his graduate degree in kinesiology at the University of Texas.
He is certified through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (CSCS), Functional Movement Systems (FMS), Titleist Performance Institute (Fitness Professional Level 2), and the Gray Institute (CAFS).
Jason married his wife, Heidi in 2013, and they have one daughter, Chloe.Â
