The Lancers went 3-1 on the road trip, winning their last three contests after losing the opener to Hawaii-Hilo. CBU moves to 16-3 overall, 9-2 PacWest with the win.
CBU shot 48.2 percent in the game to score its largest margin of victory in the past seven games.
A 12-point run mid-way through the first half gave CBU a 10-point lead and as it would turn out control of the game.
Nearly seven minutes into the game, the Lancers trailed 13-10 when Brittney Lewis sank a deep three to even it up. Simone Holmes and Lewis made back-to-back layups, and Megan Workman followed with a 3-pointer giving CBU a 20-13 lead. Three foul shots put the Lancers up 10.
CBU held Chaminade scoreless for six minutes and 33 seconds during the run. The Lancers took a 40-27 lead into the half.
CBU led by double digits the rest of the way.
The Lancers stretched a 10-point lead to an 18-point advantage with 9:50 left in the game, getting baskets from four different players.
Lewis again sparked the run with a mid-range jumper and Myriah Hicks followed with a layup to put CBU ahead 52-38. Marlee Rice followed with another Layup and then got fouled, making one of two free throws.
Jasmine Beverly finally gave CBU its 18-point advantage, converting a layup in traffic after a nice dish from Holmes.
Holmes scored 20 points on the night, posting her second straight solid performance. Lewis scored 16 and Workman scored 15 points in the game. Workman's 15 points off the bench were a season-high for the junior who had just 29 points on the season coming into play.
The Silverswords were led by Kelley Costello with 15 points. The home team shot 35 percent on the night and hit just 11-of-20 free throws.
The Lancers made 23-of-31 foul shots and forced 20 turnovers from Chaminade. Holmes and Workman had three steals each.
The loss drops Chaminade to 0-16, 0-10 on the year.
The win puts CBU in a tie with Academy of Art and Dixie State for first in the conference. Grand Canyon also has two losses in PacWest play.
