Final Team Standings
SEASIDE, Calif. – California Baptist University moved up a spot in the standings to end the Otter Invitational Tuesday.
The Lancers finished with a three-round total of 968 after shooting 324 Tuesday, following a 327 and 310 on Monday, at the Bayonet Black Horse Golf Club. Nova Southeastern won the event with an 885, while British Columbia (890) and host Cal State Monterey Bay (893) rounded out the top three.
Freshmen Kavan Eubank and Greg Gonzalez both finished tied for 51st for CBU, with Eubank (80, 79, 77) and Gonzalez (76, 77, 83) each finished with 236 totals over three rounds.
Behind Eubank's 77 Tuesday, senior Neil Hand provided the best round for the Lancers Tuesday with an 81 that gave him a 244 overall (87, 76, 81) and put him at No. 74. Tai Kuida and Tyler Miller also competed for the Lancers and finished 92nd and 95th overall with a 250 (84, 78, 88) and 254 (87, 84, 83), respectively.
CBU plays its final tournament before beginning its near four-month break leading up to the spring season at the Rock Barn Collegiate Invitational in Conover, N.C., next Monday.
