STUNT Splits Season Opener

IRVINE, Calif. – California Baptist University opened its stunt seasons with a pair of head-to-head competitions at Concordia on Saturday. The Lancers fell to CUI 14-7 but bounced back with a 14-10 win over Vanguard.
Ashley Brown had the highest score of any Lancer against Concordia with a 24. Sophia Solis produced the highest rating with a 32 up versus Vanguard.
CBU jumped out to a 4-2 lead at the first quarter with Vanguard, and kept a two-point lead, 7-5, after the second. The Lancers' lead was cut to 9-8 after the third, but they dominated the fourth to secure the 14-10 win.
