Four Lancers Finish Top-10

RESULTS
RIVERSIDE, Calif. – California Baptist University placed four runners in the top 10 of the 39-runner field in the 1,500 meter at the UC Riverside Spring Classic Invitational on Saturday afternoon. It gave the Lancers the most points of any team in the event.
The trio of Fruzsina Ladanyi, Emilie Renaud and Natalia Novak (4:38.42) took the fifth through seventh place spots, respectively. Ladanyi took a team-best fifth with a time of four minutes, 35.97 seconds, while Renaud took sixth in 4:36.52 and Novak placed seventh in 4:38.42. Karolina Iznerowicz (4:41.56) and Linda Palumbo (4:45.41) were the next Lancers to cross the line at ninth and 15th, respectively.
Lara Orrock (20th, 4:51.82); Mary Andrews (30th, 4:58.93); Anna Bartlett (35th, 5:04.85) and Chloe Beedy (36th, 5:15.60) rounded out the CBU runners. Orrock and Beedy both set personal bests on the day.
The Lancers will have a split team on Thursday and Friday with competition at the two-day San Francisco State Distance Carnival on March 28th and 29th and the one-day Stanford Invite on the 29th.
