ELK GROVE, Calif. – Twenty-four holes into the Sacramento State Invitational, Harrison Kingsley is leading California Baptist University at four-under par. CBU is currently tied with UC Santa Barbara for eighth place out of the 15 teams at two-over par with about two to three holes left in its second round. The Lancers hold leads over Cal Poly (10th, +5); defending Big West champion UC Irvine and Western Athletic Conference foe Seattle U, who are both tied for 12th at nine-over.
Cal State Fullerton, which is ranked 80th in NCAA Division I by Golfstat, leads the field at 18-under. Long Beach State and Weber State are in second and third place at 12 and eight under, respectively. Grand Canyon and Pacific are tied for fourth at four under, while Fresno State (one-under) and Sacramento State (one-over) are sixth and seventh.
