The Lancers also got a two-hit game from Angelo Capolupo and a strong outing from Angel Delgado out of the bullpen, but the Vaqueros earned the 7-3 win and Western Athletic Conference series victory on their home field as a result.
CBU's record moves to 24-15, 9-6 in WAC, while UTRGV moves into second place in the conference standings at 25-13, 11-4. The Lancers return home for a non-conference game versus CSUN at Totman Stadium on Tuesday at 6 p.m. CBU then plays a three-game WAC series at Northern Colorado Friday through Sunday.
Keith finished the day with a double and a home run on Saturday. His performance continued a hot streak, as he has hits in four of his last games, including two multi-hit games and four extra-base hits over that span.
