JURUPA VALLEY --- California Baptist University rallied in the second round of The Joust on Monday, as the Lancers climbed three spots to place fifth out of 13 teams after the first two rounds.
The two-day tournament started with 36 holes on Monday, as 85 golfers packed Goose Creek Golf Course for a chance to be crowned a champion.
The Joust is set up to be a tournament like no other, as three champions will be crowned after the final round on Tuesday. An individual medalist will be awarded, a team champion will be awarded, and then an All-Five Team Champion will be crowned. Most tournaments allow five golfers to compete, with only four counting scores going towards the team score. The third champion will have to count all five player scores to see who will be crowned the All-Five Team Champion.
