
Second Round of Sac State Invitational Suspended Due to Darkness

ELK GROVE --- California Baptist University men's golf team traveled up north to compete in the Sacramento State Invitational on Monday, as the second round was suspended due to darkness.
With 36-holes on the agenda, the 14-team field had to call it quits with four holes left to go in the second round.
Long Beach State finished the day with a blistering 18-under-par to take an eight-stroke lead over the field. Loyola Marymount is in second with a 10-under-par, while Pacific is in third with a 5-under-par team score. Long Beach State jumped up two spots in the second round, as the Beach is currently posting a 15-under-par team score in the second round with four holes to go.
The Lancers are currently 11-over-par in the second round, with most of the team needing three holes left to finish their round.
The field will pick up where it finished on Tuesday, as the same pairings will go out and continue on the course into the final round. The shotgun start is set for 8 a.m.
