Lancers Produce Perfect Weekend On The Road; Remain Undefeated

ROCKLIN --- California Baptist University's STUNT team kept its undefeated season alive and well this weekend, as the Lancers beat Vanguard, Concordia, and William Jessup.
The Lancers opened up the weekend tournament with a 17-5 victory over Vanguard on Friday. They followed that up with a 19-2 win over Concordia and a perfect 20-0 victory over William Jessup on Saturday.
With the three wins, the Lancers are now a perfect 12-0 on the season. On Feb. 25, the Lancers clinched their first-ever West Coast Conference Championship.
It was a dominating performance from start to finish, as the Lancers held the lead in all four quarters during the three games. Saturday's win over William Jessup marked the first shutout the Lancers posted on the season.
Madalynne Murray was the highest-rated player in the two games against Vanguard and Concordia. She recorded 55 points in Friday's win and a season-best 95 points against Concordia. Savannah Frausto was the highest-rated player with a 45.
The Lancers will now turn their attention to the STUNT National Championship on April 30 in Shawnee, Oklahoma.
