
Badawiya Earns United Soccer Coaches All-Region Honors

RIVERSIDE --- California Baptist University's Rola Badawiya was named to the United Soccer Coaches All-Pacific Region Team, as announced on Tuesday.
Badawiya was named to the USC All-Pacific Second Team, and it marks the fourth straight season the Lancers have placed at least one student-athlete on the All-Pacific Region Team.
Badawiya, a senior forward from Riverside, California, earns her second straight honor on the USC All-Pacific Region Team after being a Third Team selection for the 2019 season. Badawiya finished her two-year career as a Lancer with 34 games played, 44 points, 18 goals, eight assists, seven game-winners, and 111 shots. She etched her name into the record books in 2019, moving to third all-time in consecutive games with a goal (5) and fourth all-time in consecutive games with a point (6).
For the 2020-21 season, Badawiya earned her second straight First Team All-WAC selection after dominating the pitch for the Lancers. She played in 15 games for the Lancers and led the team in points (19), was tied for first in goals (7), assists (5), and shots on goal (24).
