
STUNT Opens 2022 Season at Arizona State Tournament

RIVERSIDE--- California Baptist University's STUNT team will look to repeat the success it had last season, as the Lancers are days away from kicking off the 2022 season.
In the debut 2021 season, the Lancers went a perfect 15-0 and claimed their first-ever DI/DII Stunt National Championship and West Coast Championship.
The Lancers will be hungry for more, as the 2022 schedule features four tournaments and three games throughout the year before the STUNT National Championships on April 22-24.
CBU opens its season at the Arizona State Tournament as they face Grand Canyon and Arizona State on Feb. 11-12. The Lancers then travel to Dallas, Texas, to partake in the largest tournament on the schedule at the Dallas Baptist University Tournament on Feb. 18-19. The Lancers will go head-to-head with Texas, Texas Tech, Kentucky, Oklahoma Baptist, and Oklahoma State during the two-day event.
The Lancers will then host the home opener on Feb. 23 against Concordia – Irvine to close out the month of February.
The final road tournament of the season kicks off the month of March at the William Jessup Tournament, matching up with Cal Poly, Sonoma State, Sacramento State, and Saint Mary's on March 4-5.
The Lancers close out the season at home with three total events – the longest homestand of the program's history.
CBU will welcome Vanguard to the Van Dyne Gym on March 9, Hope International on March 16, and the first-ever CBU Tournament on March 25-26.
The Lancers will look to defend its title at the DI/DII STUNT National Championship on April 22-24.
