
Lancers Finish Second Day At Golfweek Fall Challenge

PAWLEYS ISLAND --- California Baptist University's women's golf team finished the second round of the Golfweek Fall Challenge on Monday, as the Lancers sit T-13th out of 20 teams.
Campbell University created some separation from the 20-team field on moving day, as the Camels fired a 7-under-par 277 on the day. Campbell now holds sole possession and a 7-stroke advantage heading into the final round. Austin Peay State and Lipscomb are tied for second with a 5-under-par 563 team score.
The Lancers finished their day with a 15-over-par 299 team score, and are five strokes off cracking the top 10. CBU enters the final day with a 22-over-par 590 team score.
Hailey Loh was the top finisher for the Lancers, finishing with a 3-over-par 72-73=145 to place T-23rd. Samantha Dizon currently sits at T-45th with a 6-over-par 148, while Damini Law Ghanshyani and Sofa Chabon are T-52nd with a 7-over-par 149. Esther Lee finished her day at T-76th with a 12-over-par 154.
Erica Scutt of Austin Peay took over the top spot for the individuals, signing a 5-under-par 66 for a 12-under-par 130 total. Scutt holds a 5-stroke lead heading into the final round.
The Lancers will close out the final round on Tuesday, Sept. 12, with a shotgun start set for 5:10 a.m. (PST).
