RIVERSIDE--- The 2025 California Baptist University women's water polo schedule has been released with numerous marquee matchups on the docket.
The season will kick off on January 18 and 19 as the Lancers travel to Tempe, Arizona, to compete in four matches at the Arizona State University Invitational. The Trojans went 18-9 a season ago, falling in the first round of the NCAA Tournament to Stanford.
CBU will compete in two other tournaments during non-conference play, including a trip to La Jolla for the Triton Invitational and an East Coast trip to participate [ate in the Harvard Invite. Other non-conference matches include home matches against the University of Toronto, CSUN, and Chapman. Gold Coast Conference play will begin on February 14 as the Lancers head south to take on the San Diego State Aztecs for a noon matchup. CBU's home conference opener will be on March 8 against Pacific. The GCC Tournament will take place in late April, with LMU serving as the host.
The Lancers are coming off an encouraging season in which they finished fifth in the conference standings and were 3-4 in the GCC. All three of CBU's award winners are returning, including Second-Team All-GCC member Emaly Hutton, who led the team in goals a season ago with 52. Head Coach Julie Snodgrass is in her second full season with the program and will look to build upon a solid 2024 campaign.
