The Blue Team Forces Game 5 of the CBU World Series

RIVERSIDE--- After the Gold team evened out the California Baptist fall World Series in game two, game three would then see the Gold team take a series lead after dominant pitching led to a 3-1 victory. The Gold team was led by Michael Malki, and it had an impressive one-hit effort before its offense exploded with three solo home runs for the victory.
The blue team did not go quietly and delivered a commanding performance during the fourth game of the series, securing a 13-3 victory to force a game five. Blue's series-tying win came through a grand slam delivered by Chris Ramirez before Samuel Lopez crushed a two-run home run. The Gold team attempted to come back after Connor Ross smashed a lead-off solo shot at the top of the fifth inning, but Blue's pitching shut down any comeback Gold might've had left in them.
Game five will be attempted on Saturday afternoon if the rainstorm permits. If the game cannot be played this weekend, the World Series will be completed on the afternoon of the following Wednesday.
