CBU Competes on the Second Day of the WAC Tournament

PAYSON, AZ--- The California Baptist men's golf program battled a challenging course on day two of the Western Athletic Conference, finishing in seventh of nine programs. Bryden Brown had the best finish individually of the second round for the Lancers and shot three-over.
Brown posted one birdie during his second round of the WAC tournament and is currently tied for 19th with Sean Citherlet and Eeli Kujanpää. Citherlet shot seven over during his second round of the weekend, while Kujanpaa finished with a 78. Lorenzo Lombardozzi avenged his first day with a four-over par score during his second round, jumping up in the individual standings to 31st. Jared Abercrombie rounds out the Lancer team with a 77 day-two score, finishing tied 23rd.
California Baptist team is 20 strokes out of first place as Seattle U took a dominating lead on the first day, but fifth through seventh are apart by less than eight strokes. CBU is set to tee off at 8:30 a.m. tomorrow.
