O'Brien Named WAC Goalkeeper of the Week for a Second Time

RIVERSIDE--- The Western Athletic Conference announced its weekly award winners on Tuesday afternoon and named Mikayla O'Brien as WAC Goalkeeper of the Week for her impressive performance against Weber State last week. The weekly honor marks O'Brien's second of the season and the California Baptist women's soccer team's second of the year, as well.
The senior goalkeeper held down the final third for the Lancers, tallying seven saves for her second-most this season in a single match. O'Brien made several high-flying stops to keep her side in the match, despite CBU falling 1-0.
California Baptist will begin its final WAC regular season play this Thursday as the Lancers welcome Abilene Christian to Riverside before hosting Tarleton State on Sunday evening.
