18 Lancers Earn Recognition on the ACWPC Academic List

RIVERSIDE--- The academic honors continue to roll in for the California Baptist University women's water polo team as 18 Lancers were honored on the Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches All-Academic list.
The list is divided into three categories, which include Outstanding (3.71-4.0 GPA), Superior (3.41-3.7), and Excellent (3.20-3.40). CBU would land 11 on the Outstanding list, 4 on the Superior list, and 3 on the Excellent list.
CBU's team GPA of 3.606 was the 15th best in all collegiate water polo divisions and ranked ninth in DI. The cumulative GPA was also the second-best in the Golden Coast Conference and would have ranked first in their newest conference, the Big West. CBU's 18+ athletes on the list marked the fifth time in the decade that they have had at least 15 players on the list.

Superior- Amelia Urry, Bella Raynes, Julia Almendariz, and Niya Bumbaca
Excellent- Delilah Moreno, Jessia Jang, and Morgan Vice
