2020-21
Wrestled four matches at 133 pounds in the shortened season... Started three of seven duals... Took on opponents from Utah Valley, Northern Colorado, Cal Poly and Little Rock.

2019-20/REDSHIRT SEASON
Wrestled unattached in open tournaments during his redshirt season... Posted a 10-4 record at 133 pounds as an unattached grappler... Won Mile High Open and placed sixth at Reno Tournament of Champions.

HIGH SCHOOL
Prepped at Clovis High in Clovis, Calif., where he graduated in 2019... Placed runner-up at the California State Championships as a senior after taking sixth in 2017... Received 2019 Sassano Blanket Award, which is presented to the outstanding Clovis High athlete in each of their 23 sports each year... Voted Most Improved three times and Most Valuable in 2019... Logged four top-five finishes at the Doc Buchanan Tournament (fifth, 2017; fourth, 2018; third, 2019)... Served as team captain three seasons.

PERSONAL
Born in Tracy but raised in Clovis, Calif... Son of Amy and Randy Paulson... Has one younger sibling, Bailey... Enjoys working out, wrestling, video games, anime, hanging out with friends and trying new foods... Psychology major... Plans to become a firefighter after graduation...
