2021-22/REDSHIRT SEASON
Wrestled in five matches as a redshirt at 149 pounds unattached at the Roadrunner Open and Reno Tournament of Champions... Won his first collegiate match with a 55-second pin at the Reno TOC.
PREVIOUS SCHOOL
Wrestled one season at Cerritos College in 2019-20... Won the California Community College Athletic Association State championship at 141 pounds.... Went 21-7 on the year, with a 12-2 record at 141 and 9-5 mark at 149 pounds.
HIGH SCHOOL
Prepped at Esperanza High in Anaheim, Calif., where he graduated in 2018... Served as team captain as a junior and senior... Set the school records for the most takedowns in a season with 168 as a junior... Helped team win a CIF championship as a senior... Won CIF title, took second at Masters and qualified for State Tournament as a senior... Placed third at CIF at 132 pounds as a sophomore.

Son of Mauricio and Jessica Mora... Has four siblings: Karla, Sebastian, Joey and Tye... Brother Joey also wrestles for CBU... Father, Mauricio, wrestled at the University of Minnesota... Communication major with a Spanish minor... Plans to join the military or become a firefighter after graduation... Enjoys surfing and backpacking.
