Led CBU with 17 wins on the year and started eight of 10 duals at 157 pounds... Logged a 17-7 record and went 6-2 in duals... Won the Roadrunner Open title, took third at the Cyclone Open and fourth at the Reno Tournament of Champions... Posted six bonus-point wins with three pins, two major decisions and one technical fall.

Wrestled six matches at 149 pounds in the shortened season... Started six of seven duals on the year... Went 1-5 as he wrestled a challenging schedule with three matches against top-25 ranked opponents... Defeated Fresno State's Aaron Gandara, 5-3, for his win... Dropped close losses to Northern Colorado's seventh-ranked Andrew Alirez (6-4), Stanford's No. 15 Jared Abas (8-4) and Cal Poly's No. 25 Legend Lamer (4-2).

Graduated from Yucaipa High, located in Yucaipa, Calif., in 2017... Four-year letterwinner for the Thunderbirds... Won four league championships and qualified for CIF all four years... Reached CIF Masters and California State Meet three times.
