REDLANDS, Calif. --- Jon Miller and the Lancers managed to stave off the bulk of a 6-shot first period, but the second quarter was a different story.
Redlands, ranked No. 19 in the country, beat No. 20 California Baptist for the second time this season, as the Bulldogs managed to net 5 goals in the second period to set the stage for a, 10-5, win.
Ryan Steiger and Mike Looy each found the net twice, and Josh Harris scored once, as the Lancers fall to 20-8 on the season. The loss also snaps a 6-game winning streak for CBU.
The Bulldogs converted on 3 of 6 advantaged opportunites, as they held the Lancers to just one score in 4 chances on the afternoon.
Miller, for his part, hauled down 8 saves in the loss.
