RIVERSIDE, Calif. --- Josh Harris bounced back from an early exclusion to score and put No. 20 California Baptist on the board just 2 minutes into the game in its, 10-8, win over Golden West.
It's the second time this season that the Lancers have bested the Rustlers, as California Baptist improves to 21-9 on the season. The Lancers remain unbeaten in 4 contests against non-varsity opponents in their last such meeting of the year.
A goal from Golden West's Uros Dzelebdzic with just 15 seconds left in the third period tied the game for the sixth time of the afternoon, at 7-7. After the Lancers were stuffed on a pair of 6-on-5 opportunities to start the fourth period, Mike Looy netted the eventual game-winner give California Baptist an 8-7 lead.
Harris added an insurance goal with 3 minutes on the clock, but Scott Coburn put the game within one score, at 9-8, before Ryan Steiger's goal with 47 ticks on the clock polished off the scoring at 10-8.
Jon Miller nabbed 7 saves while Looy and Abellano had 4 steals and 2 goals apiece. Steiger dished out 3 assists to compliment his nation-leading 80th goal of the season, while David Graves and Chris Morgan each posted a goal and an assist in the win.
