A total of 7 Lancers were named to the 19-member squad. Junior Aaron Seuss was named GSAC Player of the Year, senior Aaron Hartsock was named GSAC Pitcher of the Year, and head coach
Seuss becomes the second player in CBU history to be named GSAC Player of the Year, joining former Lancer standout Robert Muro, who earned the honor in 1997. He leads the NAIA with 79 RBIs and is second in hits (86) and home runs (19). He is 2 home runs away from the program's single-season record, set by Muro in 1997 and just 9 RBIs away from Muro's record also set in 1997. He was also fifth in the GSAC in hitting (.410) and was second in runs (59). This is Seuss' second straight All-GSAC honor.
Hartsock becomes the first Lancer to be named Pitcher of the Year after going 10-3 with a 3.34 ERA. His 10 wins and 103 strikeouts lead the GSAC. He needs just 15 strikeouts to set the program's single-season record. This season, Hartsock has hurled 4 complete-games and has had 4 games with double-digit strikeout totals.
In just his third season at the helm of the program, Adcock has amassed 96 wins and directed the Lancers to 3 straight NAIA Region II Playoff appearances, including an appearance in the championship game in 2004. This season, the Lancers have posted a school-record 42 wins, the first 40-win season in program history.
In addition to Seuss and Hartsock, 5 others were named to the team. Sophomore Steve Goins was named to the team for the second straight year. Senior Mike Swain, junior Josh Banda, senior Ross Stout and sophomore Robert Lundy were named to the team as well.
Starting 48 of the Lancers' 49 games, Goins hit .361 with 39 runs and 41 RBIs. He also had a team-leading 15 doubles and 3 home runs and was fourth in the GSAC with 69 hits. Goins also doubled on the mound, going 7-0 with a 3.69 ERA in 12 appearances, notching a pair of saves.
In his final collegiate season, Swain led the GSAC with 63 runs and was third with 75 hits and 49 runs. He was third on the team in hitting (.362) and was second with 14 doubles to go along with 8 home runs.
Banda was sixth in the GSAC in hitting (.375). He also had 32 runs, 43 RBIs and was second on the team with 14 doubles and second with 8 home runs. He had 8 games with 3 or more hits and was second on the team with 22 walks.
Stout finished 7-2 with a 3.86 ERA and was second in the GSAC with 87 strikeouts. Opponents hit just .218 against him, and in his last 2 outings, he struck out 23 batters in 14.1 innings. He picked up wins against nationally-ranked
Lundy hit .360 with 41 runs and 53 RBIs, and he was fourth in the GSAC with 12 home runs. He also had 12 stolen bases and 20 multi-hit games.
In addition to the 7 All-GSAC selections, Brandon Daily and Jordan Monroe were named GSAC Scholar Athlete.
