California Baptist closes the regular season 43-13. Their seed for next week's WAC Tournament is still to be determined as the conference season wraps up across this weekend.
CBU used an eight-run fifth inning to flip the momentum of Friday's game after the Aggies took a 2-0 lead in the fourth. Cole Howarth started the big inning with a game-tying home run, and then the Lancers took the lead on Bryce McFeely's RBI double down the left field line.

The inning continued with a two-run double from Cole Hansen, and then Ben Castelli doubled home a run to center field. Riley Hunsaker added an RBI single, and then Howard added his second big hit of the inning, an RBI single to right field to close out the scoring.
Davis countered the CBU offensive surge with one run in the fifth and four runs in the seventh, cutting the score to 8-7. But the Lancers had a counter of their own when Connor Ross homered to left center, giving CBU a needed insurance run.
The Ross home run proved to be big as Davis scored a run on an RBI single in the ninth. The Aggies then loaded the bases, but a flyout brought the regular season to an end with the Lancers on the winning side of the board.

Hunsaker, the hero from Thursday night, finished Friday's game 3-for-5. Ross, Hansen, and Howarth all finished with two hits.
The Lancers used five pitchers on the final day of the regular season. Michael Malki entered the day on a predetermined pitch count and allowed two hits over two scoreless innings. Alfredo Capacete earned the win after 3.2 innings of relief work. Andrew Rudd was credited with his third save of the year.
CBU will wait for the WAC season to conclude this weekend, as seeding for the WAC Tournament is still up in the air. Seeds three through six will open the postseason on Wednesday. The top two seeds get a bye into Thursday.
The WAC Tournament will be held at Hohokam Stadium in Mesa, AZ.
