
CBU Back in NCAA Top-25 Rankings

RIVERSIDE – California Baptist University re-entered the Collegiate Water Polo Association Top-25 poll on Wednesday.
The Lancers went 4-0 last week to extend their winning streak to seven games, as they outscored their opponents 51-22. It puts CBU on its best start to a season since 2005, with a 13-4 record, and gives it back the 25th spot in the NCAA rankings.
All season long, CBU has been receiving votes in the CWPA polls after it ended the 2019 season ranked 24th. The highest-ever NCAA ranking for CBU was No. 18 on three different occasions, the last time being on February 5, 2014. The Lancers opens Golden Coast Conference play this week, as they travel to Santa Clara on Thursday for a 3:30 p.m. first sprint.
