
Bosch, Summit Named to All-WAC Team

Lourdes Bosch was named to the All-WAC First Team and Taylor Summit was named to the All-WAC Second Team.
This marks the fourth season in a row the Lancers have had a player named to the All-WAC First Team and continues their five year run of having multiple players named to the All-WAC teams.
Bosch, a senior midfielder from Las Vegas, Nev., earned all-conference honors in her first season with the Lancers after being an All-Mountain West selection all three season for UNLV. Bosch leads the Lancers with seven goals, including three game winners. She also leads the team with 45 shots taken and five assists. Bosch finished fourth in the conference in goals per game and was top-10 in shots, goals and assists.

Summit, a junior defender from San Diego, Calif., earned her first all-conference distinction and was a major part of eight shutouts pitched by the Lancers this season. Summit started 16 out of 17 games and logged the second most minutes on the team this year with 1,442.

CBU will open postseason play as the No. 6 seed and will face New Mexico State who is the No. 3 seed on Nov. 2 at 4 p.m. in Seattle, can be viewed on ESPN+. The winner of the CBU-NM State match-up will advance to the Nov. 4 semifinals against Seattle U at 4 p.m. on ESPN+. The championship match is set for Nov. 6 at 1 p.m. on ESPN+. The winner of the tournament will earn an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.
