RIVERSIDE – CBU returns to CBU Soccer Stadium on Thursday night for an early-season battle of unbeaten teams, welcoming Big West foe UC Santa Barbara for a 7 p.m. non-conference match-up.
The Lancers (2-0-1) are coming off three straight shutouts, marking the first time in the Division I era and just the second time in program history that CBU has opened a season with three consecutive clean sheets. The Gauchos (3-0-0) were equally impressive defensively, winning their first three matches without conceding a goal.
