RIVERSIDE--- The California Baptist men's golf program will head to Stockton, California, to compete in the Visit Stockton Invitational hosted by the University of Pacific. The Lancers will compete in their third tournament of the season after finishing in fifth at the Ironwood Collegiate Classic two weeks ago.
The last time the Lancers participated in the Visit Stockton Invitational was in 2021, and ended the weekend tournament in 11th out of 15 teams. This year, TL Brown will travel Fred Tindale, Eeli Kujanpää, Luke Bartram, Kurtis Rodriguez, and Sean Citherlet to Stockton. The team of five was successful during the Ironwood Collegiate Classic and will be looking for another top-five team finish.
California Baptist will play 18 holes on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday of next week at The Reserve at Spanos Park. With a stunning backdrop of Mount. Diablos, the course is a par 72 and has hosted numerous NCAA Regionals competitions. The front nine offers the best chance to score, while the back nine is much more challenging with tighter playing areas.
