Mitchel Simon continued his solid weekend of hitting into the week, kicking off the first inning with a home run to put the Lancers on the board. Josh Paino made it around the bases as well on a sacrifice hit from Julian Alvarez in the bottom of the fifth. This marks the 36th meeting of the Lancers and the Highlanders in their history.
The Lancers move to 12-12 on the season and will turn around to take on the Long Beach Dirtbags in Long Beach on Tuesday evening at 6 pm.
