A double from Dustin Garcia earned him two RBI in the first inning, just before Josh Paino's single added another two runs. Jake Skipworth kept the scoring going through the second inning, hitting a sacrifice fly to bring in another run. Mitchel Simon kicked off the third inning with a double to get on base and safely made it home after Cole Howarth singled up the middle for a 6-0 lead.

The Gauchos gained momentum in the top of the eighth, hitting a two-run homer over the left-center field fence, cutting their deficit to four runs. Another double and single would tally another two runs to put them within two of the Lancer's lead. Heading into the ninth inning, Ryan Delgado came up big with a three up, three down inning, ending with a strikeout to finalize the 6-4 win.
Paino walked away with two hits and two RBI on the night, while Connor McGuire also picked up two hits. Garret Ostrander tallied a hit against the Gaucho pitching staff, extending his hitting streak to 16 games. The impressive performance from the Lancers was marked by outstanding defense and solid hitting from the batter's box.
