
MGOLF Preview: CBU Set to Compete in The Goodwin Beginning on Thursday

RIVERSIDE--- The California Baptist men's golf team is set to compete in The Goodwin hosted by Stanford this week for their fourth event of the spring season. CBU is coming off a fourth-place finish at the Grand Canyon Invitational a few weeks ago and will be looking for another top-five finish.
The Lancers will battle a 31-team field, facing nine top-50 nationally ranked universities at the TPC Harding Park course. The 18-hole 72-par course runs 7,169 yards and has a long history of being home to many professional golf tournaments, including the PGA Tour's Lucky International. The weekend tournament run from Thursday to Saturday as the field plays 18 holes every day. CBU will travel Sean Citherlet, Luke Bartram, Kurtis Rodriguez, Fred Tindale, and Eeli Kujanpää.
California Baptist picked up their best finish at their last tournament and will be looking to carry the momentum into this weekend in Northern California. Live stats can be found here.
