Lancers Battle Rainy Conditions at The Goodwin

SAN FRANCISCO, CALIF.--- The California Baptist men's golf program headed north this week to San Francisco to compete in The Goodwin hosted by Stanford University at TPC Harding Park. The Lancers placed 29th in the field of 31 teams after battling rainy conditions during the three-day event.
Luke Bartram and Sean Citherlet paced the Lancers through the weekend as both tied for 111th place, snagging the best placement for CBU. Citherlet also carded the best round of the tournament for the Lancers after scoring 1-over par during the final 18 holes of the weekend. Kurtis Rodriguez was not far behind the front-runner for CBU after he finished tied for 118th. Fred Tindale battled the tough course to 133rd place, while Eeli Kujanpää rounded out the Lancers tied for 154th.
California Baptist will head to North Carolina next week as they will compete in the Irish Creek Collegiate event hosted by Appalachian State from April eighth through the ninth.
