RIVERSIDE--- The California Baptist men's golf program will head to North Carolina for their second-to-last regular season event before the Western Athletic Conference Tournament at the end of April. CBU will compete in the Irish Creek Collegiate for the first time hosted by Appalachian State from Monday to Tuesday.
The two-day event will take place at The Club at Irish Creek with 36 holes played on Monday and the final 18 will be played on Tuesday. The par-71 course extends over 7,100 yards against Kannapolis Lake with the final hole dubbed as the most challenging. The tournament format is slightly different from what the Lances have competed in this season, with six golfers on the course and the two worst scores will be dropped from the team tally.
For this North Carolina event, Head Coach TL Brown has selected Sean Citherlet, Ka'ena Kaulia, Luke Bartram, Fred Tindale, Kurtis Rodriguez, and Eeli Kujanpaa to the travel roster.
