
Stanley, Teraoka, and Bowden Named ACWPC All-Americans After Historic Season

RIVERSIDE--- The California Baptist men's water polo program caps off their historic season with another trio of awards after the Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches announced the 2024 All-Americans on Wednesday. Toring Stanley, Caleb Teraoka, and Bodhi Bowden were honored, marking a new first for Stanley and Bowden.
Stanley proved to be a force in the pool this year for Head Coach Kevin Rosa and ended the season with a team-high 68 assists in addition to his 64 goals. The junior marked his third season as a Lancer with an All-WCC Honorable Mention after his most successful year in his collegiate career and will close out 2024 as an ACWPC Second-Team All-American for the first time.
Teraoka is no stranger to the ACWPC and earned his second All-American Honorable Mention nod after also being honored during the previous season. The senior was also named to the All-WCC Second-Team before leading his squad to the program's first West Coast Conference Tournament Championship. Teraoka finished the season with 50 goals and 51 assists behind 29 steals and 16 field blocks, proving his versatility in the water.
Rounding out the prestigious honors is Bowden, who was named an ACWPC All-American Honor Mention for the first time in his career. Bowden made the most of his senior campaign, firing a team-high 82 goals and 37 steals in the pool. Bowden was named the All-WCC Second-Team and earned WCC All-Tournament honors for his efforts during the Lancer's incredible postseason run to the NCAA National Tournament.
The WCC finished with a total of 20 All-Americans, with Pacific leading the way with five, San Jose and Pepperdine finishing with four, and CBU tallying three.
