FULLERTON, Calif. – CBU clinched a postseason berth in the Big West Tournament as the No. 4 seed after battling Cal State Fullerton to a 3-3 draw in a thrilling regular-season finale Saturday.

The Lancers finished the regular season with a 9-3-5 overall record and a 4-3-4 mark in their first Big West season. The Titans moved to 10-3-6 overall and 7-1-3 in conference play to earn the No. 3 seed.

As the No. 4 seed, the Lancers will host No. 5 Cal Poly on Wednesday, Nov. 4, at 7 p.m. The match will be streamed on ESPN+.

The Lancers battled the Titans throughout the afternoon, with the match taking a dramatic turn in the second half.

Fullerton struck first just 2:40 into the contest, but graduate goalkeeper Mikayla O'Brien kept the Titans from adding to their lead with five first-half saves. The Lancers entered halftime trailing 1-0.

CBU responded in the second half as junior forward Nikki Mau scored an unassisted goal in the 55th minute to even the match at 1-1. It was Mau's second goal of the season.
