• Prepped four varsity seasons at Granite Hills High in Apple Valley, Calif., graduating in 2012
• Named Desert Sky League MVP his senior season, as well as all-area first team
• Named Daily Press “Athlete of the Year” as a senior
• Named Granite Hills Offensive Player of the Year as a senior
• Set school records for most career hits, runs scored, RBIs and plate appearances
• Earned All-CIF Southern Section first team his junior season, as well as all-area first team
• Named league MVP and team MVP as a junior
• Earned all-area first team honors and Granite Hills Defensive Player of the Year as a sophomore
