Made 15 appearances and six starts on the mound as a true freshman... Logged a 2-3 record with a 7.71 ERA and 2.14 WHIP... Pitched 28 innings and struck out 23 batters... Won his first two starts/appearances against Coppin State (Feb. 20) and Purdue Fort Wayne (Feb. 27)... Pitched a season high five innings and struck out six against Coppin State.

Prepped at Moreno Valley High in Moreno Valley, Calif., where he graduated in 2021... Made All-Mountain Valley League Team as a freshman... Voted Player of the Year in 2021.

Son of Liliana Silvas... Has three siblings: Emily and Alex Silvas and Adrian Escalante... Kinesiology major... Plans to play professional baseball after graduation... Enjoys weight training and basketball... Joshua 1:9 is his favorite Bible verse.
