Olsen joined the CBU Baseball staff as an assistant coach in July of 2023.
Before coming to Riverside, Olsen served as the Director of Offensive Development at Campbell University in Buies, North Carolina. Prior to joining the Campbell staff, Olsen was an assistant coach at Bakersfield Baseball Academy in Bakersfield, Calif. for two years. During that time he also worked as an assistant strength coach at GrindHaus Strength and Conditioning.
Olsen had a lengthy collegiate playing career as a middle infielder that began at Phoenix College (Phoenix, Ariz.) from 2015-17 where he helped the Bears reach the D2 Juco NJCAA World Series. He then played at Taft College (Taft, Calif.) from 2017-18, and rounded out his career at Post University (Waterbury, Conn.) from 2018-20 where he graduated with a degree in sports management.
Olsen is originally from Bakersfield, California.
