- Earned PacWest Scholar Athlete honors
- Logged two wins and two saves
- Struck out 35 batters in 31 innings, compared to just 13 walks
- Produced a season-high six strikeouts at Dixie State on April 11th

- Played two seasons under Ryan Cougill at Yavapai College in Prescott, Ariz. in 2013-14
- Two-time All-ACCAC Conference player, as an outfielder and pitcher in 2013 and 2014, respectively
- On the mound, went 6-4 in 12 starts
- Logged a 3.25 ERA in 69.1 IP, along with 80 strikeouts in 2014
- Hit .278 with four doubles and nine stolen bases as a sophomore, spending most of his time on the mound
- Batted .392 with four doubles, three triples and two homers in 105 at bats and was an All-Region selection as a freshman
- Went 4-0 in 13 appearances as a freshman, all out of the bullpen
- Received Player of the Week honors and was named Yavapai’s Student-Athlete of the Year as a sophomore

- Prepped four varsity baseball seasons and two football seasons at La Cueva High in Albuquerque, N.M., where he graduated in 2011

- Batted .455 as a junior and .544 with 64 RBI as a senior
- Bears baseball went 108-21 in his four seasons, winning New Mexico State title three years and finishing runner-up in 2009
