• Was 2 for 2 with two RBIs, a double and a triple in a win over UH-Hilo
• Picked up his first collegiate hit in a win over Academy of Art (Feb. 17)
• Had an RBI double vs. Dixie State

HIGH SCHOOL

• Prepped four varsity seasons for head coach Steve Madril at J.W. North High in Riverside, graduating in 2011
• Led the Huskies to the CIF Division I Championship as a senior
• Earned All-Big 8 League first team honors and was named all-county second team and was named to the Riverside County All-Star Team
• Hit .385 with 13 stolen bases, 26 RBI and three home runs
• Earned All-Big 8 second team honors as a junior hitting .269 with 10 stolen bases
• Was a four-time scholar-athlete

• Born April 22, 1993, in Riverside, to Nick and Kristine Pena
• Has two brothers (Kyle and Brian)
• Parents were both junior college athletes. Father, Nick, played baseball at Riverside Community College, while mother, Kristine, played volleyball at San Bernardino Valley College
• Majoring in Kinesiology
